Sample Preparation - Technician time will be billed at $20.00 per hour, use of fluorescence microscope and cell culture facility including standard reagents are included in the fees listed. Custom reagents will be billed at cost.
A minimum fee will be assessed equal to 1 hour of use plus any setup fee or one hour less than the amount of time reserved, plus an setup fee, whichever is greater.
Cancellation of Appointments
. No charge for appointments canceled > 48 hours in
advance.
. Appointments cancelled < 48 hours but > 24 hours in
advance will be billed 1/2 hour of use.
. Appointments cancelled < 24 hours in advance will be
billed the minimum fee (see A above).
*Unassisted means that facility
personnel are not required to run samples or monitor sort. Facility personnel
will set up the instrument (MoFlo), perform QC and be available for
troubleshooting.

Typhoon 8600 single laser
imager: $15 for first 30 minutes of use
and $.20 per minute of use thereafter performs phosphorimaging,
chemiluminescence measurements, and multi-color fluorescence
Bio-Rad Multiplex Suspesion Systems: $100/96-well plate.

Facility users other than State of Illinois institutions are subject to a 25.3% indirect cost rate for federally funded projects.
